Alistair has been immersed in the machinery business since he left school in 1987. Growing up in Dargaville, a small town two hours north of Auckland, he began his career working on an agricultural cropping farm operating machinery. He then moved on to his family's business, where he was selling farm machinery. Building on this foundation, Alistair later ventured into starting Pronto Hire and relocated to Warkworth.
Under his leadership, Pronto Hire has expanded from an initial team of three to a mid-sized company with over 30 employees. Alistair’s focus on keeping machinery low-hour and high-quality, along with providing great service, has played a big role in that growth. He’s committed to ensuring that every piece of equipment and every interaction reflects the high standards Pronto Hire stands for.
