FAQ
If you have any more questions or need clarification, feel free to contact us. We're happy to help.
What types of access equipment do you have for hire?
We offer electric boom lifts, diesel articulating knuckle boom lifts, diesel telescopic boom lifts, electric slab scissor lifts, rough terrain scissor lifts, mast lifts, and towable boom lifts, suited to a wide range of height and terrain requirements.
What's the difference between a scissor lift and a boom lift?
Scissor lifts move straight up and down and are best for jobs directly overhead on flat, stable ground. Boom lifts can reach up, out, and around obstacles, making them better suited to uneven terrain or jobs that need horizontal reach.
Do I need a licence to operate a boom lift or scissor lift?
Operators need to be competent and appropriately trained (an EWP ticket is generally required for boom-type machines). If you're unsure what's needed for your job, get in touch and we can point you in the right direction.
What height access equipment do I need for my job?
It depends on your working height, ground conditions, and whether you need to reach over or around obstacles. Let us know the details of your site and we can help match the right machine.
Do you deliver access equipment to site?
Yes, we deliver across Auckland, Northland, and Waikato. Contact us with your site location and job requirements to check availability.
Can I hire access equipment for indoor use?
Yes, electric boom lifts and electric slab scissor lifts are well suited to indoor work since they run without exhaust emissions and are generally quieter than diesel machines.
